Whay Hay! 1.2 - Thank fook.
I had my machine down at Digital Village who totally messed up fixing my 2500, but they gave me a new one to compensate for the feck up. So I have to say thanks to them because I slagged them off in another thread. Dun.
So I get home, wop the new 1.2 OS on and have a play. It seems to me that everything just seems more stable. Now I dunno if its de new machine or the new OS, but I'm liking it. A lot.
The new Grid Edit views are wkd, it helps to you to find which Pads are in use for muting if you are using it Live. It really has made me go back to this feature which was kinda gimiky to start with.
MTC / MMC works as well! Turned on Cubase, turned on MPC, set the MPCs MIDI sync options to be the Master. Pressed play on the MPC and cubase pops up saying - "You wanna change frame rate" - yep. And we are in control on the Cubase transport. All very kewl.
Chromatic Assign. Again, seems to do what it says on the tin - effectively. Although, like someone else posted it would have made more sense to put it on the 16 levels button - someone made a bit of a mistake there methinks.
