i still find this hoax idea laughable and none of the evidence anything more than groundless speculation

This coming from you is laughable. It appears you have something to gain (besides getting more functions in a low-cost MPC) with the success/sale of this JJ OS. So much, you are behind the new forum as the premiere moderator. Its amazing that you have enough time moderating over there and responding to threads here. I think you have a secret agenda..which is really not that much of a secret :D Do you still feel sorry for MPC 2500 users that spent so much on their MPC when they could have saved hundreds by buying a 1000? Yeah..you probably still feel that way. So you created a thread (over there) just to talk about why you feel that way   Stop the madness and just pick up a 2500

speaking of laughables, watching Jahrome get his panties in such a bunch over the mere idea is truly a treat.

his exhaustive indignant antics might be unparalled...staying tuned show

Do you even own an MPC? Stop window shopping...

$30 may not be much to one person...but multiply that by the 10 beta testers that would be silly enough to pay for it...that is $300
Hoax?? Who knows..but I think you have something to gain...shouldn't you be paying Tutor for your advertising???

been rock'n mpc's since 97.

if 'window shopping' is watching your tireless self-indulgent bantors and finding your transparent 'bait & argue' methods hilarious then yes i'm guilty of watching you make an a$$ out of yourself...over, and over, and over again.

cheers man, thx for the entertainment.

I am glad that you are entertained. So you've been rock'n mpc's since 97. Wow, that really is impressive. The quailfies you as an expert. I really value your opinion. So what made you cut corners and buy a piece of crap like the 1000? Or you don't actually use one..but your best buddy has one?

la, la, la, la, lah! well i'm currently rock'n the 25k my friend. i have owned the 1k on two occasions. the first because i got one for $400 rock'd it for a minute then harvested a bit of profit from it. the second for last year when i was playing out quite a bit.

i'm not really sure why your beefing about the model of mpc really, or what that has do with anything. for me the 60 is still one of my all time favs, the 4k was cool but i really didn't need all that...though it was pretty cadillac at the time. the 2k and 2kxl will always have a warm place in my heart but the 2500 is perfecto to me. but i'm not out with pitchforks and torches for those who don't feel the same. the 1k is a totally capable machine, if i have the opportunity to hit the road again, i'll do it with the 1k.

i'm no expert but i can't remember the last time any mpc iteration stumped my either. this sh!t is mad simple

peace,
bestbuddymodel

just took my homies 1000 up to the cottage and had a blast! hahahha used jj's beta os ...good stuff ....it would be great as a traviler machien.... but honestly the problem I had is my hands are too big and clunky to hit such small pads with out hiting a next pad.. but I can deal with that on the road... when I got back I was glad to use my bigger pads on my 2500 in the studio .... this os thing looks good and I felt even jj's beta os had little bugs and a few new thangs that I really like....call me a fence sitter but I like both machiens ...one for portibility and one for studio use....

jahrome ....if jj makes an os for the 2500 and people are sayin nothin but good about it willl you try it out??

actuel, I am not beefin about what MPC you own...although I can easily tell that you are a 1000 user. I can read between the lines..because 1000 users always fight to justify their purchase. I good waste of $300...but to each his own.

savilion, I would never install a 3rd party OS in any MPC I owned unless it was approved by the company that is responsible for the MPC in the first place. There have been a 3rd party OS for the 3000 for years...nope...don't want or need it. A JJ OS will never be installed in my 2500 (unless I receive word that Akai is actually behind the JJ OS). Which is still not way off base. JJ is a Japanese collective, I hear, and the folks that are responsible for the lastest MPCs are ALL Japanese.

oh jahrome, have i mentioned how sweet it is to watch you tirelessly and rather transparently bait & argue...it's weaksauce bro but total entertainment.

i wasn't justifying, i was answering your question you posed:
So what made you cut corners and buy a piece of **** like the 1000?

you approving of my purchases or studio gear is really the least of my concerns. the fact that you entertain such a dynamic as a rebuttle is classic jahrome. i knew you wouldn't let me down.

Yeah..yeah..I know. I got you clinging to my every word like my #1 Fan. It took zero effort to 'bait' you into a response. I know I am the reason why you are here in the first place. I should be getting a paycheck for all the traffic I bring to this site

Honestly, I believe you do value my opinions on what to spend your money on. Free tips...use your MPC with the operating system it has. No future OS will take your production to the next level..nor will staying here chatting with me all night talking about what ever we have been talking about

So what do you want to talk about next? Are you upset that you have to press STOP on the 2500 to stop it from syncing to MTC?? Or are you upset that you spent double on an MPC that offers very little than an MPC that cost $350? Or are you frustrated that the 2500s screen is green instead of white? Or..whatever, you get the point
