Hard disk access through PC

Hello everybody!

I bought an MPC 2500 a week ago and i added a 2,5'' western digital IDE hard disk which works fine so far. Anyways, my question is:
Can't I access that hard disk from my pc when I connect the mpc to the computer via the USB cable? I mean, I've already tried it and I can only access my memory card. I guess I did something wrong. There must be a way to transfer files from the mpc hard disk to my PC and viceversa.

P.S: I hope my english aint that bad.. :P

Check page 112, MPC2500Users Manual.
Connecting the MPC2500
to a Windows - based PC

01. Insert the memory card in the card slot of the
MPC2500.

02. Press the [MODE] key and then the [PAD 2] (LOAD),
or the [PAD 3] (SAVE).
In the Load from or Save to field, select MEMORY
CARD. If you wish to load /save to/from the internal
hard disk, select HARD DISK.

the problem is Ive alrady done this... Maybe i should try it again just incase i did something wrong without noticing...

If it doesn't work like it's supposed to the check around to see if it's a bug, glitch
or if there is a workaround info floating around somewhere.
