Firstly thanks for such a great forum which I’ve long read but never before posted on. I’m a long time MPC 2000 user looking to upgrade to a 2500 and I’m starting out by trying to make my 2000 programmes and samples on zip useable with the 2500. I purchased a USB zip drive so I could drop all the files onto the PC and then upload them to the 2500 but my PC didn’t recognize the files. Having searched the forum it’s been suggested that I can format a blank zip disk in MPC Editor, save all the files from the 2000 to that disk, drop them back onto the PC and finally upload them into the 2500. I was getting ready purchase the MPC Editor and do all that and then I discovered a programme called Bluebox which claims to be the equivalent of MPC Editor but designed for the 1000 and 2500. So, my question is, can I use either programme for what I need to do and which is the better buy? Any advice greatly appreciated.
