trouble loading splash screen to 2500 and another problem...

what up mpc headz! this is a 2 part question...

i read up on all the posts from koc about loading up my .bmp image for the splash screen thing and followed the directions word for word. the size of the image is as specified and should work but the image is in my flash card and i see it there...but it's not loading up into the MP.
any suggestions?

question 2....i assigned a hit hat to be the default click sound for my metronome. the actual hithat sample is in a program. when i delete the program the hi hat is not there anymore. will it only work if that program is loaded? so will i need to change it all the time?

Only works with JJ OS...

i have JJOS1. still won't work.
can someone please post a step by step (in detail) of how to upload my image for my splash screen? it would be greatly appreciated.
before anyone responds with "read the manual"....i have read the JJOS1 AND OS2 manuals.
