Need help, samples cut eachother out

if i have a lets say clap or snare that ive put on a fast note repeat while my samples are playing, it'll cancel out my sample, or a rolling deep bass kick it'll cut out my sample,


even if i got two samples playing at tha same time like a synth with a piano the piano will cancel out the synth or tha synth and the piano "dont get along" so.......so im thinkin its just a setting i have to fix somewhere or something,

anyone know what im talkin about or have that same problem?

btw, if i mute tha clap lets say or the rolling bass kick, the sample will play again at the next bar so its something that im close to figureing out...-=P

whats that mean? how do i switch it to stereo?

thats the thing, i lost my manual.....cant seem to find it......

so can anyone explain what buttons i need to press and what setting it is i need to change it to?

You have to set the Program to "Poly".

well thanx for that url u posted BIG HELP..........BUT NO LUCK on the problem i have, i read pages 85,86,87 in the manual and they talk about voice overlapping and mute groups, mono and poly mode in the program window BUT my shit is set to poly and my claps and rollin bass kick's are still shorting out my ga damn samples GRRRRRR **** this im throwin my mpc out my 3rd story window !!!!!!! Goodbye cruel world!!!!!!

Hold on.. ya 808's cutting out. A long 808. You gotta put ya 808s on mono. but keep the program on poly.
