Im pissed off with the save and load function!!

Just like to say the MPC has the most confusing save and load function EVER! After owning one for 4 weeks now im still no closer to understanding it fully and keep losing sounds and programmes. Can someone tell me if the operating system upgrades make it any easier?

No they won't. You need to save all programs & sounds and save all sequences and sounds that's the key.

Thats what i always do but for some reason it hasn't saved all the programes and also when i filled my flash card with samples the mpc loaded them all up as soon as i inserted it. Is it supposed to do this?

I'm on here now looking for help on why my program shows up in the load screen, but when I press "do It" it says "wrong file. As for your problem, have you checked to see if you have it set to autoload?

You guys either have to update your O.S. to 1.24 or when you save..save entire memory, but each time you save you have to give the file a different name (I know it sucks)

I use 1.23 and save entire memory but i make a new folder EVERY TIME!!

Ah ok i'll do that from now on and YES that does suck!!
