Hey Whats up MPC Wizards!!!!!!!
Im having a problem. I chop and rec. my samples to sequences. I save everything to its proper folders(programs & sequences) and when I come back and reload the next day the sequence stops playing the last bar on lets say an 8 bar loop. sometimes it even cuts off 4 bars. And the day before everything was playing just lovely. It even did some weird crap where the time sig. were just changing on there own and I did not make any time sig. changes. The screen even gave me an error message once!!! Oh yeah when I go into grid mode I can see the data just cant hear it!!! I really dont thinking Im using up my ram. I ve done bigger joints than this in the past....

Here Are some the facts.
1) MPC 2500 with 128 MB expansion card.
2) My samples are like a bar long my pads are set to mono.
3) Im running the latest OS 1.24

Would love some words of wizdom from a experienced user.

no your not using all of your ram, sometimes I have the same problem. The way i've gotten past it is i'll set the parameters in some programs to mono (especially for when i'm re recording synth layers into to the mp, instead of keeping them all in the same program).

I'm not sure what to tell you, but how long as this been going on for you? did you have the same problems before updating to 1.24?

thanks for that info bro, but I always put my pads to mono and yeah it did it before I I stalled 1.24os. I beleive my mpc got a serious electronic glitch. Since my last MSG. It also erased 20 files off my cf. Thank goodness I had most of them tracked out already!
