Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

hi im reasonably new to these forums so bear with me .. im having trouble using some sounds i was given .. the ones i can open in quick time my 2500 reads fine .. but the ones that open in itunes it dont like .. im using a mac .. anything i can do with these samples without re sampling the audio .. cheers any help much apreciated

nobody can help you unless you state the file types of each audio file. Telling us what program opens the file doesn't help what so ever because we dont know what types of files you have itunes acting as the default player for.

pretty sure someone with the right amount of experience would know what files itunes prefers to open .. i will have another look .. is there a good reformating program would be my other question

Yeah it doesn't matter if you are using a mac or pc, because quicktime operates on both system types.

The MPC wont read MP3's.
