How do you play other pads simultaneously?

On the MPC2000XL, you can assign two other pads to play simultaneously with the original pad you are going to trigger. Is there a way to do the same on the 2500?! The 2500 will only allow me to assign four other sounds (not pads) to play simultaneously with the original pad i am going to trigger. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks NYM, but that program screen on your message isn't a 2500 program screen. It looks like a 1000 program screen.
