Hi all,
I need help in importing sounds that I have from a sound library on my mac into my mpc then back to logic. I got some sample sounds that I want to use from a disc but I dont have a cd rom on my MPC2500 so my sounds are on an external drive on my mac. I want to put sounds that I want to use on my mpc2500 then do what i want to it and have it go back to logic to record.

Please help.

you can connect your mpc to your computer in order to access the mpc's internal hard drive or compact flash drive. once connected your mpc's drive will show up on your computer as an external drive and you can copy the files to the mpc's drive and then load them to your mpc from there.

keep in mind that the mpc can only handle 16 bit 44.1kHz wav files, so if your sound library is in a different format, you'd have to convert it.

check your manual for step by step instructions on how to connect your mpc to your computer and how to load sounds.
