Hello everybody
I'm currently trying to port a huge sound library as a MPC2500 program. This library notes envelopes parameters (attack and decay ...) are modeled with a time in millisecond unit.
In the MPC2500 this parameters have no explicit unit. The value can vary from 0 to 100.
My problem is that I'm am unable to translate the milliseconds values to the MPC2500 values (0 - > 100). It forces me to ear each note and adjust each parameter.
I've tried to reverse engineered the envelope behavior by using a reference signal and varying values but I didn't found any universal rule.
Do you know this rule or a calculation to translate millisecond envelope parameters values to MPC2500 envelope parameters value ?
