Im new, so firstly wanted to say, s'up to all mpc heads out there.
Ive hit a problem on the patched phrase editing and didnt know if i was asking the obvious or if any one could help.
Im working on a 1 bar beat. Ive set the regions relevant to the number of beats to the bar but when it comes to converting the sample im getting a stuttering effect when played back at a lower tempo. The original sample is at 99bpm. Ideally i wanted to patch phrase it to play back at a tempo of 84bpm.
Am i getting this stuttering effect as there is reverb on the original production and by patch phrasing it, it is cutting the reverb in the original recording, hence the stutter when played back at a lower tempo ?
Or are there any techniques that i could use to get around this ?
Would really appriciate any ones help.
