Mpc 2500 won't read Memory Card: Please Help

What up yall? I have an issue with my Mpc 2500. I can't load my memory card. I have been using it for months now, but it suddenly stopped working. I cleared the memory, and have been trying to load drum kits that I have put together through "MPC Pad 187." I have done this all before, but it just randomly stopped working. When I go USB to my computer, the files show up. When I go to load them on the mpc they don't show up. If anyone has experienced this or know anything about this, I would appreciate your help.

Did u also try to open the wav files with ur computer? If the computer can play the samples it's best to reinstall whatever kind of os ur using.

what kind of card are you using i hope its no a lexicon. i would only use sandisk. i had the same problem. i had to get some long tweezers and rebend one of the pins .

Yeah, I had this problem with my 1000. The memory card worked fine...and then one day when I inserted the card the MPC spazzed out. The screen went blank and it made this quiet, but high pitch squeal. I shined a flashlight in the slot and sure enough one of the pins was bent. I straightened it out with a bobby pin or something that I could fit in there...and it worked again! Now I just make sure I'm really gentle when inserting the card. Good luck!
