onboard EQ

Whatup folks. Proud new owner of a 2500. Producing music for years but never owned an mpc. Had it a couple days and was wondering about onboard EQing of samples. Yeah I googled and read the manual...

Is there any way to EQ an individual sample on the mpc? One sound. Not the whole track? I don't have my bible on me... Tryna get rid of some highs...

You can assign effects to individual pads in the mixer section. You can't assign effects to pads which are routed to the alt outs.

If you just need to get rid of some high's, try using a low pass filter. It works great...

just set the eq and assign samples to pads. then resamples the main outs and chop that shit... by the way set the master out level to -6 db when you resample(or whatever level suits your sample)
