No audio in Cubase when I record?

Hey, If any1 can help me. I feel like I'm just after overlooking something simple but still need some help. I have mpc synch'd to Cubase4 with Cubase as master but when I record the mpc I have no audio. I'm using Presonus Firestudio Project. I have a stereo 1/4" jack from right stereo out of Mpc to line 3 in Firestudio. I can hear audio in stereo while mpc plays but just not recording the audio in Cubase. My buses are set the same as always but like I said probably something so stupid on my part, but would still appreciate your help. Thanks In Advance

The Outs on the MPC are mono, so are probably the Ins on the Firestudio.

Firestudio is definitely 8 mono in's...
Is the channel strip in Cubase set to use Input 3?
Might want to put those 8 out's & 8 in's to work, rather than using one of the main outputs...
