PLEASE HELP ME (NEW TO FORUM BUT OLD MPC USER WITH NEW 2500)

I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH MY MACHINE FOR 2 MONTHS NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS.
BUT NOW I HAVE ONE.

I SAMPLE NEW SOUNDS AND MAKE A PROGRAM, THEN WHEN I TRY TO SAVE THE PROGRAM IT TELLS ME FILE EXIST ALREADY. WHEN THERE IS NOT A FILE WITH THE SAME NAME. SO I HIT REPLACE AND IT STARTS TO SAVE THE PROGRAMS TITLE BUT NOT THE SOUNDS. THEN I GO TO LOAD PROGRAM AND IT SAYS WRONG FILE.

IF I TRY TO RENAME IT, IT WILL RENAME BUT NOT SAVE. AND IT GIVES ME THE SAME MESSAGE. FILE ALREADY EXIST.


YOU GUYS ON HERE ARE REAL KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH MPC'S SO I HOPE SOMEONE CAN PLEASE HELP ME.

You will find all the info you need regarding your machine with a little tool called the 'search' function. Also, there is a 'getting started' or 'newbies' thread on the home page. You've gone this far and registered as a new member, go ahead and do a little research. I tell you this for your own good. Don't say I didn't warn you.
