midi track problems

Can you record more than 1 midi track in a sequence???

For some reason when I switch tracks and try to record a different sound, it overwrites the 1st midi track. Oh yea, I use a Korg M50 as the slave. Also when I switch sounds on the korg it changes the sequence on the 2500.

Its possible... FINALLY figured it out on my own, but I have a Yamaha MM6 (piece of sh!t, I know). Actually found a youtube video someone posted here in the forum that was very helpful.
