automatic time streching

does mpc 2500 support automatic ts, 2 apply the sample to the tempo , and when increasin it or decreasin sample changes as well without changin pitch ... ?? i read the manual cant find anything, or im **** retarded... ?

I think this is what you are referring too. It takes some working with, but it can be done if I understand you correctly.
I looked in to buying this guys video series too just to pick up some tricks but he wants like $80-$500 (or something ridiculous like that) for the different video sets....

I was really confused at why someone would spend that much money. You could buy another MPC for that. LOL.

just watch around 1:07 to 1:24 or something, he automaticly streches sliced samples, now i dont think he used patched phrase for all samples just watch...

I think this is a beat (maybe just the sample played in the sequencer) that is already prerecorded and he is just speeding the tempo up. He just chops good enough to wear it sounds like time stretching, but it was probably all done by hand and played in the sequencer on the MPC.

That is my guess.

my point exactly. he prerecorded it played it, and speed it up or slowed it down but, all choped samples match the tempo, that i do not know how, i tried on my mpc and tried but nothing!

especially when that guy doesn't even know what "real time timestretch" or "realtime pitch shift" actually means. he does neither of those things in that video.

Which is why it sounds like dirt when he does this. He can only change the pitch up to like 5bpms, which you can do a much easier way without this technique....
