need a littel help if you can...

Mit some kind soul be willing to help me with the stereo out on my MPC 2500. it seems that my "right output" has stopped working.there is no sound it has come out to my attention that it is not a wire issue nor my mixer. I was sampling from my laptop when all of the sudden i could not hear anything on the right output. i hooked my headphones up and again the left was working fine but not the right. I don't know if maybe I hit a setting or a button but if anyone knows a way to solve this issue i would be more then thankful

Well, quite possibly it could be that your atrocious grammar has led to your MPC's failure to deliver stereo output. This is usually caused by improper spelling and the absolute failure the use proper punctuation. "Proper punctuation"? How about any punctuation. You sir are perpetuating a terrible stereotype about damn near everyone on this forum by speaking and typing in the manner in which you did. A stereotype I find offensive. The majority of us have taken time to read our manuals and learn our gear, all the while still having the time to practice the English language in its correct fashion. I suggest asking the same question in plain English with a period here and there and quite possibly a few commas. It might make more sense to the rest of us and we may be more willing to help you out. By the way, please don't hand me the "keeping it real" or "thats how I talk" excuse. Its an insult to those on this forum who are truly educated and read their manuals. Maybe, thats why their right output works and yours doesn't.

I once had the same problem (no sound at all coming out of one output).
Strangely enough, after 5 minutes it was working again and i never had the problem again..

Dont know whats up with yours, but i know it sucks

Hmm, try something....set up the MPC to record. On the record screen do you see levels for the left and right yet only hear from the right side?

and yes i can record with both i played with the cord a lil bit but when i went back to the the load screen nothing again from my right speaker idk

1st of all, im a swiss guy, so excuse my english!!

i got the same problem with my mpc 2500
right chanel death...the reset didn't fix that and a software-update didn't too...

switch the unit off and on a couple of times.
mine is working for now...

The actual "output jack" part (dont know the technical name for it) is near impossible to find. I wonder if your not using the 8 outs section if you can remove the jack from there and replace it with the one thats not working?

MPCstuff doesnt sell the board or the part that the outputs/input jacks are located.

yes i know, i think it's a processor problem. i don't think, that the headphone jack AND the stereo out is broken at the same time...and sometimes both work until next time i switch the unit off and on again...

ah i didnt realize that it was both your stereo right output and your headphone right output.
