"wrong file!!!" "wrong disk!!!" "Wrong Everything!!"

i just made 2 new beats and i saved them the next day i try to load the sequence and the new program and it goes through all the loading b.s. but at the end it says wrong file!!! and doesnt load squat, also i tried updating the OS and it says Wrong Disk!!! at the beginning of the OS load screen, what can i do to fix this?

...ALSO when i try to make a new folder through tha "mode - save" it freezes and wont let me do anything, i have to turn off the mpc kuz its just plain stuck,,,,,,,,AINT THIS SOME SHIT!?

What version of the OS are you using? And if you are writing and reading from a hard drive, the disk corruption bug was fixed in 1.24. So it may have been created by an earlier version. Since things are pretty stuffed, you can't trust your storage right now. Perhaps you can copy the files on to a PC, format your hard drive or CF and start again.
