JJ OS or AKAI os for beginner to MCPC?

Hi all. This is my 1st post here. I am really considering the MPC 2500 (or the 1k) but i wanted to ask, for a beginner, which OS is faster to learn on the JJ OS or AKAI os? I know it might be a little late to ask seeing as how 2nd hand might sell with JJ OS included but i wanted to get it from the MPC headz 1st.

I would go with the JJ OS. It's pretty easy to learn and if your stuck on something just search the forums.

Thats an easy choice... Its not about which one is easier to learn, its about which one can make your workflow easier.

Even if you get the free version its still alot better than the Akai OS.

thanks a lot guys. will do. i'm looking to get either an MPC 1000 or 25k. Why is it that we don't have a section here for people selling MPC's?

I am a true mpc guy i suggest just stick with what akai has i have messed with both and found that the AKAI os is perfect not saying that the JJ os is not its just why try to add more stuff take away some other its confusing. there has been thousands of records that has charted and even platinum classics that you listen to every day made and produced off the AKAI OS why go any where else. Ask Kanye or Swizz or Many others what they use. and I betcha the AKAI

bad reasoning. the akai os is far from perfect.
enjoy changing each pad's parameter one at a time...limited envelopes, no keygroups, slow ass chopping, and playschool font

the Akai os is far from perfect. Your providing bad info.

on another note posting youtube links in all of your posts got played out about 20 minutes ago.

To the OP. Take it from people who obviously know what they are talking about. The JJos is superior to the Akai os without even trying. Do a little search on the boards and see how many posts exists where people hate the JJos so much they switch back.

Don't get the 1000. Definitely get the JJOS.
