OS1.24 Chop Shop feature
Having just upgraded to the said OS system I am shocked and horrified to find that despite rectifying the errors and bugs of OS1.23, the new Chop Shop 2 save and load facility has slowed the very usefulness of chop shop in MPC2500!!!!!
A 10s sample takes a colossal 29s to chop in OS1.24 compared with 1.3s in OS1.23.
A 3m10s sample will take just under 9m to chop in OS1.24 compared to a mind blowing 16s in OS1.23.
I understand Akai is amining to please, but in doing so (in this case) you've destroyed the usefulness of this invaluable feature for us MPC2500 users. PLEASE PLEASE RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM. At least give us the 'choice' as to whether we want to SAVE or LOAD Chop Shop 2 compatible samples - in which case we pay the price for our choice.
Please put this problem right.
I'll take the bug fixes of OS1.24 and happily do away with the so called 'new/changes'
PEACE OUT!
