HEY MY MPC 2500 WON'T PLAY ANY DRUM PADS OR THE DEFAULT I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW YOU PERMANENTLY AUTOLOAD SO THAT EVEN IF I SWITCH OFF THE DEVICE WHEN I SWITCH IT BACK THE SAMPLES AND PADS WILL PLAY. PLUS TRIED LOOKING IN THE MANUAL AND I FOUND NOTHING PLEASE HELP........

move the files you want to autoload to the root menu,,i did this by mistake and it worked.

The main folder where all the folders are. The main directory. As soon as you turn on the machine, and go to the load screen, that is the root of that particular drive (ie CF, CD, or HD)

MY PROBLEM IS I LOAD THE FILES FROM THE MEMORY CARD BUT AS SOON AS I SWITCH OFF THE MACHINE AND SWITCH IT BACK ON THE PADS DON'T WORK.....

thats because as soon as you shut the mp off it loses its memory,,,,,,if you want to save all of your sounds to the pads you left them on,,then u have to save "all sequences and songs" and also "all programs and sounds".....make sure to name then alike and save them to a spot where u remember,,,,then turn off mp,turn back on mp,go to load,find the "sequences and songs" file u saved and load it,then find the "all programs and sounds" file u saved and load it,,,now all your sounds should be there,,,

for auto load,,,just place them in the root menu...that would be the menu that pops up as soon as ur mp is turned on..

and when saving all programs and sounds make sure you switch where it says"save same sounds" from no to yes!!

Not all 16 pads play sounds about 13 only play and when i put it on b,c,d they are no sounds to the pads is there a way to make all the pads play?
