Fix Patched Phrases

I'm having problems with some patch phrases I got from a friend.

I don't think my mpc recognizes them as patch phrases. They sound choppy when I play them and they do not sync with any sequences on the mpc.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get these phrases to work on my mpc?
