Controlling reason 4 with mpc 2500

i cant seem to get sounds from reason to come out of my MPC...but for some odd reason my midi keyboard which is hooked up to the mpc plays the sounds from reason with no problems? any one no why this would be??? tried finding threads on this, no luck...even on the reason forum.

Double check the settings in preferences/ keyboard & control surfaces
