MPC2500 Acid 7 Sync issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anybody new of any tricks or different ways to get the 2500 to sync up with ACID pro 7. I have successfully synced up the timecode with acid but when I hit play on ACID to record, it will speed up the tempo on the mpc. For example. I will have the tempo set to 88.0 on the MPC and in ACID. When I hit play it speeds it up to like 120 or something. Even though the tempo clearly says 88. on both ACID and the MPC. Ive gotten it to work but 9 times out of 10 it doesnt work properly.

New software will likely solve the issue...

Would you please share how you got to hook up the connection between the mpc and the computer
