no waveform wtf?! help pls

First time this happened to me but for some reason today I was sampling then I see no waveform when I want to trim it. I tried normalizing it but that didnt do shit. The record knob is halfway while recording, my connections are good, its receiving a signal before I record so whats the deal? thanks!

did you hit the zoom+ button.

Could be that you're sampling a mono source with the input set at stereo in the record screen. Obviously, I don't know if this is what you did, but have you tried viewing both the left & right side of the wave?
