With the right eq-ing (some mid lows for warmth, the right boost on the mids) before sampling and processing with external plug-ins, fx and stuff.
The swing is a myth. Know how to chop, know how to quantize and understand how to build grooves. Understanding rhythmic patterns is very important when u use no quantize.

But no one sounds the same on a 3000/ 2500/ 60 or whatever kind of machine

Can you Make a 2500 sound like a 3000?

I owned a 3000 & feel the 2500 Feels & Sounds like it if not better than the 3000. Remake a beat that was made on the 3000 & I bet it will sound the same if not better.

P.S. Just rock & master the 2500. That shit is a Beast!

Dont get me wrong, 3k's are the shit but if you looking for that grit and bang, cop an EPS. Sample on 45 and pitch down. EQ correctly and sequence with your MP. You wil be happy and will have spent less than $300..

peace

bull sh!t !
ther is no sonic differences between those 2 machines
if they are - 2500 wins over 3000
I had both, checked them 100 times, and sold mpc300LE

whole story about swing, timing and SOUND is a BS, big time, mate
and I have acoustic treatment in my room (professional) and expensive monitors/amps
the only one difference is a WORKFLOW
it's oranges&apples again
personal preferences,
that's it
mpc60 is a 12 bit 40 khz sampler, so it must sound different
plug your mpc 1000/2500 via spdif in/out to pc , use plugins to create SOUND, much more flexibility
you can create with free plugins whatever sound you want, sp1200, eps, s950, mpc3000

use sampler responsibly ! :)))
