Sampling

Is it better to use the record in for sampling records,cds and others or use the digital in for records etc?

What can i use the digital out for?

use the record in for sampling cd's,vinyl or whatever analogue you want,use the digital in to capture digital signals if the device you own has a Digital Out.

i have a pioneer cd deck and it has a "digital out" so i guess i could use that...
