continuos sample play

wsup! sorry for the noob question but I tried messin with all the options on the mpc and read the manual but couldnt seem to find the problem to my question. I found a dope bassline and sampled it but its only for a good 1 second. I know that there has to be a way to just hold down the pad and it will continuously play so it has no pause and I dont have to keep pressing it at certain times to keep the bassline goin. any help pls? thanks!

Im somewhat of a newbie myself cousin! But I think you gotta go into the program page(Mode then Program Pad). Put the cursor on the field where you load the sample onto the pad. Then Hit the "Window" Key and it will say "One Shot". You gotta toggle it to "Note On" wit the Rotary Wheel. Then I think it will just loop the pad for you.

Im not sure if thats what you're talkin bout, but thought Id lend a helping hand. Everybody lemme know if I giving the right info!

thanks for the replys but that aint it. ive seen that part in the manuel and tried it. try going into trim mode and picking any sample. press pad 13. notice how it continuously plays. how do you do that?

u mean loop?

Read the manual on how to loop a sample in the 'edit a sample' chapter.
Set the start and endpoint, switch loop to 'on' and the pad to note on.
