Bluebox/Midi parameter conflict.

Hi,

I've been using an MPC2500 for about a year and a half and am still using the Akai OS.

Recently I started using BluBox for the creation of program files.... To begin with everything was fine, but recently I 'bulk uploaded' a batch of files within Bluebox and was faced with warnings (in red text) about conflicts in midi-parameters.

"No problem, I thought.... I'm won't be using using midi" and proceeded to save the program and transfer the data over to my MPC.

HOWEVER, once i've recorded a sequence to a track using said program it plays back as if different samples are assigned to the keys I've used (i.e. My kicks, dispite programming as such, come out as a synth stab.)

Does anyone have any advice how to remedy this?

I can't see a solution within the appropriate sub-section of the Blue Box operating screen and I have similarly failed when looking towards the MPC itself for a solution.

p.s. Yes, I have read the manual. ;o] ...and appologies if this is a repeated topic - I do recall reading similar on here some time ago but failed to find said thread again.

I know one way to solve the problem. I would just reconvert my files after slicing from ReCycle

For example. I have a basic drumloop that i would take to ReCycle to slice and export as individual hits.

Usually if i dump it to Blubox, i would get that conflict with A01 A02 etc.. But a way i found is that
before i bulk sample load. i would take all those hits to winamp or itunes and what not.. and reconvert
them to wav in a new folder. When that's done, i would bulk sample load those new reconverted wav files.
And there you go, no conflict. this is pretty important for me becuase i can consilidate all my chop
programs to one sample program.

oh one more thing, this trick will also work if you have multiple programs created from the mpc with different samples. this is my work around for the mpc song mode which can only memorize one sample.

Hi, I am having the same issues, is there not an easier way around this, for instance i have tried bulk loading a group of samples that have not been exported by recycle and I still get the MIDI conflict issue

All I want to do is bulk load a folder of samples and quickly save as a program
