Hello,
I have had the MPC2500 for three weeks and I am really satisfied with it. However since yesterday I am having the following problem, that I can't reproduce. Quite randomly, and very rarely (once per two hours, or so...) the screen's contrast changes in a very fast flickering way. This lasts for 3 seconds and it's over. I tried to connect the MPC to an other plug in the wall, however I got the same problem again. I also have to mention that we often have slight fluctuations in the electricity supply and there are moments when it stops for a second shutting down everything or in the better case I can see on light bulbs in the room a similar fluctuation. However, this doesn't have any (obvious) effects on my other synths which are also turned on (a little phatty, indigo and a nord).Maybe the MPC is very sensitive to these changes? One of my friends also told me to connect every synth to one single plug in order to avoid ground loops. Or, could this problem be a software bug? I also installed the free JJOS to see the difference and since installing it I haven't seen this flickering (yet)!
Please help me, thank you in advance
edit: flickering is a better word for what is happening with the screen not blinking. The JJOS didn't solve the problem, the flickering is still there, quite randomly. Now, I am anxious...
