so i was going 2 get the 2000XL, then at last minute got my hands on a 2500 for a very nice price. When it arrived - the f3 button didnt work i couldnt get into params and was generally an angry bastard. but then....
got given this guys number who can fix these sorts of thing (cud have tried myself but didnt wanna risk n i aint got a soldering iron at the mo). Anyway i phoned him YESTERDAY, took it round and now its back in my room FIXED. Working perfectly, he even sorted me out a another cf card! n all this for £25 great british pounds.
Im happy as larry now and am v.impressed with the machine. However really can feel the difference in build quality compared to my old mpc2000 tho. but you cant have it all apparently...
Anyway if any1 needs any work done on their mpc (and u live in south east england) i would defo recomend this guy. PM me if u need his details.
