F1-F3 dead after mode button fix

i soldered a new mode button tact switch replacing the old one, now my F1,F2,F3 buttons are not working! anyone have any guesses? F4-F6 work fine, so i dont think its the board. please help!

have you checked your solders? Make sure you dont have any solder F'ing up a connection on the board. Other than that, double check the ribbons and make sure everything is securely connected

how would i know if the solder is **** up the connection? i havent soldered much

YOOOOOOO...What up sen.......Its Peace.......Aside from you F buttons bein dead how you been.....?

to me sounds like a bad solder job...if the soder touches any other circuits it can get fried...Look at the motherboard ...does it look like something burned out....

If thats not itr...then it could be the f's sensors .....But that kinda odd that it happened right when you fixed the mode......

what up fam? i been hearin you been mad busy, heard obie was tryin to get at you at the bullfrog, that is dope!! I think i might go the expensive route and get a new PCB board with all the right switches.

Hope it works, its devastating not havin an MPC...

why replace the board? Just double check your work and correct it if need be.

when i bought my mpc second hand, it several buttons didnt work on the right side, like 16 levels, next sequence, and some of the numbers.

i went in again to see what the problem might be, cant really see anything wrong, idk whats goin on. im hoping if a new board would do the trick
