just got a 2500

i saw on youtube a guy changing the tone of a sample while in the middle of playing a beat live. he used the +/- buttons to do so. is there any way that that is possible or do you need to go to the program screen to do it? here is where i saw it.

If you look closely then you see that he is going into Program Mode

that is what i thought. he is actually playing the whole time in program mode.

I'm not sure about that, but you can see he's hitting the Mode button at one time just before pitching the sample.
