Bizarre sample behavior?

Hi,

I have recorded in a 6 second sample of some strings, its on pad 12A of a factory program, and it has been playing perfectly.

Just now though, i have been assigning Q-link sliders and knobs to it for some tweaking, and i just went to record the sample in but it is only playing about 1 second of the sample now, no matter how long i hold the pad down for. Sometimes it doesn't even play at all.

When i stop playback the sample plays fine again in its full length.

Anyone got any help or ideas as to why this could be?

That's happened to me before when using the Qlink stuff. Lampdog is bang on. What I found was that if I made a mistake while recording the Qlink changes and didn't hit undo, but rather tried to adjust the note placement in grid edit mode, the Qlink parameters were still recorded and couldn't be deleted or undone by that point in grid edit mode. Your problem likely has something this this going on...

Ohhh i see, thanks chucknorris, that totally makes sense, that sounds like what has happened.

I still want to keep the Q-link assignments to the pad, just delete the automation i created, if you see what i mean. Any tips or advice on that?
