Is it possible to monitor this way?

I have the MPC 2500, into which my KRK RP6's are connected. I also have a Presnous AudioBox USB Audio Interface:



Can I monitor everything I do on the MPC and on the PC? If yes, how do I connect everything?

yes and no, It depends on what your trying to acomplish. For instance if you have the MPC going to the interface and the monitors from the interface, your monitoring may have latency.

I dont know if that interface has "direct monitor" if if does you just connect the stereo auto of your Mpc to the stereo In of you mixer and there you go.
Direct minitor means that the sound is not processed in any way so there is no latency, it just goes thru the interface and out to the speakers or mixer depending on how you have your setup done.

i ment stereo OUT not stereo "auto" hehe

I dunno about the USB Audiobox, but I used to use a PreSonus FireWire Firebox that looked the same, and I could monitor the MPC and the computer at the same time, connected like this:

STEP 1: Connect your MPC L & R stereo outs to the PreSonus front 1 & 2 inputs
STEP 2: Connect your MPC midi out to the PreSonus midi in, and the MPC midi in to the PreSonus midi out
STEP 3: Connect your KRK left & right monitors to the PreSonus rear L & R main outs
STEP 4: Connect your PC USB to the PreSonus USB

That's all the connections you need right there.

On some interfaces direct monitoring can only be switched on/off within your DAW (software). Check the options or preferences or audio set-up or whatever your DAW refers to it as.

What I wanna do is hear everything that is happening on the MPC and on the PC. Is this possible?
