MPC + Keyboard Quick question

Whats up MPC heads.. I just have a quick question.. dont think im dumb...
But if you link up a keyboard like a motif or triton to the mpc 2500 thru midi. and have the mpc as master. What will quantize what you play on the keys? Or will it even quantize at all? I am use to using software, where you just go in and move notes. But if your using hardware there wouldnt be a way to quantize anything coming from the keyboard correct?

I am confued and this is critical in making my decision whether to go with the hardware or stay with vst's

hey man thanks for the reply... I already have the mpc 2500. Software is just a bunch of mess to me sometimes. The sound doesnt sound as good as it does coming from a good synthesizer, plus the whole latency and cpu part of vst sucks sometimes. But since you said that the keyboard can be quantized while synced with the mpc... thats exactly what i needed to know. thanks alot bro
