MPC2000XL files to MPC2500?

I'm trying to get all my 2000xl files over on the 2500. So i bought a usb powered zip drive to save them on the computer and everytime i insert a disk it says the disk is not formatted and asks if i want to format it now as if the disk is already blank...i tried this with all my xl disks and got the same result. Any help?

this sounds, like you formated your zips on the mpc xl. this format cannot be recognized by the pc...

Just buy a card reader for the XL and save the beats to CF. Then load into the 2500!

Otherwise, you are gonna have to get MPC Editor and back up the XL zip to the PC, then restore it to a CF card and load it into the 2500. The 2500 jumbles up the XL beats though. From my experience, I had to put a lot of XL beats "back together" when I loaded them in the 2500. So I just kept my XL!
