Every time I play drums pads over my sample loop for a few seconds.. the loop cuts off. When I play the drums on every 2nd or 4th beat its fine.. but when I tap drums in 8th or 16s like Hi Hats or shakers.. the sample track just stops playing, and comes back when I stop tapping drums. WTF!? I've had this machine since it first came out and made tons of music with this. Why this? Why now? Does anybody know whats going on? Please HELP!!

I tried laying down the drums first and then the loop after and again it cuts off the loop. I tried putting the loop to a different track. I tried starting from scratch, using different samples.. and its all the same case. No pad is set cut any other off, its also a loop which is one pad. It cuts off and then comes back when I stop tapping the other pads. I removed the drum sounds from the pads and I began tapping them like crazy and the loop did NOT cut off, so it seems to have something to do with the audio. Please help me!! I would greatly appreciate it guys!

Hey Hellfire, thanks for your reply. I just put the drums and loop on 2 separate programs, and the same thing happened again. The main program is always on poly. I tried mono and it was a disaster. Has anyone heard of this?

I left the loop alone and deleted all the drums. Then I reloaded drums from a different CF card and they worked fine, no cutoff. I erased those drums and uploaded the drums from the previous CF card again, and it happened again. Is this common? Thanks again.

the only thing i can think is try to filter or eq your drums so they have more room around them...their must be something with the sample, maybe lots of white noise or some shit, idk

Because if its cutting the loop off, but the loop comes back without restarting, then its not ever stopping, you just cant hear it for some reason
