PLEASE HELP: 48hrs till deadline and a crashing mpc

I have a deadline in 48hrs for a project. I made this beat kind of a remix with a lot of large samples.
Want to do some tweakz in the step edit mode before final recording, but when I press mode and step edit the mpc crashes and reboots itslef.
Im on jjos 3.09.
It does that shit with every beat, also none project related.
I dumped the back up file on a cf card and tryed that one. But when I press step edit mode it crashes again.
I reinstalled the jjos 3.09. That seemed to be the solution but when I load in this long ass beat I need to work in and enter step edit mode it crashes.
I tryed it on the mpc 500 but I have too many samples so the 500 trips out too
I think it's the file or something like that
Thought off purchasing jjos but with no money on paypal will take too much tmne
Please help a brother out because I really have to fix that shit.

Sendspace the beat to me and I'll try it in my mpc tonight when I get off. Just save the whole beat folder to you computer, compress and upload it and Pm me the link.

Or try opening a completely blank sequence and see if step mode crashes with no sounds loaded.

OK, I tried it. Yeah dog, your machine is **** up. I went into step edit on every single used track you made and had no crashes. I'm on JJOS1 BTW! I don't know what exactly is causing it for you, but now we know it's not the project that's causing it. FYI, I was on sequence 08-Perfect2.
