Boombap on MPC2500

Hi there!

In the upcoming months I will hopefully get my MPC2500 or MPC2000XL.

But the question is, what MPC suits making Boombap the most between 2500 and tbhe 2000XL?

Would be nice if you could specify why the 2500 is better han the 2000XL and vice versa.

Depends on what type of boom bap you want to make. Cause 2000XL is better for the boom while 2500 does better on the bap.

and in response to the original question, you can make boom bap using the containers that once stored such products as ice-cream and mayonnaise. i saw two guys drumming on them in london the other day.

so buy whatever machine you feel you will get along with most, search the forums for the answer, as you can see we are not prepared to do that work for you!! i have an mpc 2500, mainly for convenience as bigger memory and such. i had some money to spend, though.

my geuss is the mpc 2000xl.why?because............its more low fi imoho,crusty and booomy like!!!like the idea of boombap is old school hiphop in your face street wize bizznizz.nice simple akai badness ie mpc 2000 yo.or maybe im getting to0 old for this.jus get yoself a mpc 3000 and get on wit it.actually ive never really used a 2500 so ill shut up now :cry:
