Original black MPC 2500 gone?? (Europe)

Hi, is the original black MPC gone? All e-shops I visit, they only have the SE version for sale, which are so ugly that I dont want one in my studio. Is the Black 2500 gone??

Yes, as far as I know the MPC2500 was out of production a long time ago. There was a clearance before the SE was released, but once they're all bought up I don't think there's anymore original 2500s being made.

So that's why I got the SE when I asked for a 2500! As I said in the previous post ... I like it

What's happening with the 1000's? Are they being stopped too? I was about to sell my 1000 but if they have stopped producing the lot I will keep hold of it.

The SE is a better buy.
Same money but for CD drive and RAM plus better blue screen.
You can pick up a used black 2500 anytime on ebay the SE however will be harder to find after stores stock run out.
Trust me they look alot better irl than in the pictures.

Well, they arent that bad, besides the MPC 2500 is the important thing, not the color. BTW is the carbon sides still sticker?

Why wouldn't you want an SE? I don't get it man, I really don't think its ugly. Plus you get extras, and the box looks wayy better

You´re right brother, the looks aint that big of a deal.

Im not going to get MPC 2500 right now, but its definetly going to be on my buylist . I was hoping they still sell them in 6 months from now.

guitar center was advertising the 2500 for $900usd, good deal, only thing is there were none left. i checked both GC's here in houston and no luck. GC's website has removed it from the inventory.. I bought the 1000 instead and it was the last in stock at the guitar center here..
