Midi in problem!

Hi!

I got a mpc 2500 with a midi keyboard connected to it (M-AUDIO Keystation 61es) for playing bass.

It has just stop working, i can play on my pads but the mpc won't work with mid in no more...

I have tried 3 different midi cables and 3 different keyboards but the mpc wont recognise anything.
I have tried to re-install the OS and pressing "erase" button on power up (reset) and i have going trough the midi setting on the mpc to but nothing works

I'm running JJ Os1.

Do i need to buy a new "PCB, Midi Assembly - MPC2500" ?

have you tried the OTHER midi in?

I heard she won't get pregnant if you use the other midi in, is that true?

something tells me it's working fine, but you just can't find the keys that are assigned to the pads since they aren't organized chromatically....

Yes i have tried that.

Of Course i have set it to auto chromaticall and not the "16 levels way"

Everything has worked fine before with my keyboard and the mpc, but now it seems like they have broke up

its gotta be the ports went bad?

if you reloaded the OS..

mult cables, keyboards, use to work.

see if you can get a midi test light in your hands

If "MIDI thru" is on in the settings, it has to be a hardware issue? Maybe your keyboard isn't transmitting MIDI properly?

Yes all the settings are correct, and i have tried 3 different Midi keyboards

have you tried hooking it up to your pc and seeing if you can see anything via midi-ox?

No, my sound card dont have midi in or out, i'm using a "TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6"
