Mpc + Logic + midi controller ... help!

Sup everyone! I've had my mpc 2500 for about a month & its off the hook - loving this joint! But before I got it I already had Logic 8 on my iMac - loved it too. So, now I need 2 know how 2 hook all this up. Of course, I wanna bang the drums on the MPC - but I wanna incorporate Logic & its sounds. Do I record it into Logic? How do I hook it all up!! All suggestions are welcome. I am just lost @ this point. Lol

for tracking out sounds from your mpc = audio interface
for synching your mpc and logic = midi interface
for using logic as a soundmodule (play sounds from logic with your mpc pads) = midi interface

my sugestion: get an audio/midi interface

Try this: Just change the words Pro-tools for Logic, Digi002 for Presonus, and triton for your keyboard:

I have a MPC2500 with a Triton and a pro-tools LE rig.

MPC MIDI OUT -> TRITON MIDI IN
TRITON MIDI OUT -> MPC MIDI IN
TRITON MIDI THROUGH -> DIGI002 MIDI IN

That way I can sequence the midi in the MP using ether the Triton patches or any VSTi in Pro-tools, just assign the right midi channels and it´s done. I´ve accomplished a good workflow that way.
