2500 stuck at 128mb loading screen

Hi folks,

just installed my new Samsung 256MB SDRAM PC133 CL3 144pin SODIMM 8chip in my 2500. The frist 3 starts an sodimm error message was send. then i pulled it out, back in again and it showed me what i wanted to see: 120mb installed.

but my big problem is, that i just see that screen!! is tries to load the jj os 3.10, i guess?! the 128mb installed screen loads, blinks, loads again, blinks again.. as long as the power is on..

any ideas whats the problem??

getting "sodimm error" again, and sometimes not.. wtf?

Im gonna take a wild guess, but you probably need a different RAM stick..

just changed the 256mb with an old toshiba 128mb stick.. now i got 64mb working.. thats ram enough!! so it was not the mpc`s fault

my sister sure`s happy about the 128mb extra ram her laptop got now
