problem when tracking out beats

just started happening outta nowhere when i moved my equip to another room

when i track out in protools the sound goes thru and it's all hooked up like i normally have it

i'm not a newbie

but when i add 4 empty bars at the beginning of my sequence for tracking purposes, the mpc only playbacks 16 bars while tracking into protools

????

so i can't get the full 20 bars (last 4 bars of the beat) to track out my beat (remember 4 bars are empty so 16 bar beat is now 20 bars)

some setting screwed up?

Are you saying it just stops recording early?

Have you checked that you don't have a certain region selected in PT?
If you only have X amount of bars selected pro Tools will stop at the last selected bar, if the MPC is sync'd up it will also stop there

figured it out

in that seq i had the loop settings to 16 bars

had to move the cursor to loop on and hit window then change it to loop end
