hi, do you guys know how i can convert 24bit sample to 16bit sample in the mpc 2500? thanks in advance

Can't be done in inside the mpc. U have to import them as an 16bit 44.1khz file in order for the mpc to be able to play it back.
I use audacity for that type of stuff. It's free.

I use AudioMove (pc + mac) and i found it as a best and free tool for batch converting of the audio files...

Exellant, hey thanks guys those free software did the trick...why do people make 24bit samples rate anyway? the lower the better
