Anyone use the built-in CD burner on their 2500 to burn beat

Anyone use the built-in CD burner on their 2500 to burn beats?

Anyone just mixing their beats on the 2500 and then burning them to cd right on the 2500? as opposed to tracking the beat out to pro tools separated or just stereo out to pro tools?

i read an article with Arrab Muzik saying he mixes right in the 2500 and don't go out to pro tools. with the 2 effects channels and the master effects channel in the 2500, i wonder how it would sound to mix it inside the box and burn it to a cd right in the 2500?

i mix my beats on the mpc, but i've had trouble burning beats directly. what i've had to do is record the song into a .wav file and burn it using nero startsmart on my pc. the one time i tried burning a beat directly there was nothing on it, and wasted a cd. i wish there were more effects channels on the 2500 too

about 90% of my beats are mixed totally in the mpc, i rarely burn my beats on the mp because its tedious and long. I usually will just record the entire beat into my DAW and burn the cd on my computer.

For about 2 years now i've been using nothing but the compressors on the mp. idk if anyone else is using them to mix but i find it makes shit knock way harded when you use them right. I've had dudes ask me if i had a 3000 after hearing some beats i mixed totally in the 2500. its not what you have, just how you use it

that's what i'll do too.

i'll try stereo out to pro tools thru my mbox2 and also separating each track out. see which one sounds better.

the effects in the 2500 def get the job done. i've heard some punchy beats come out of that machine.

Mine came pre-installed but I've never used it.

lol. I havn't used mine in so long I decided to try it just to make sure it works still.

just burned a 4 minute audio file to the cd no problemo.
saved to the cd just like a cf or hd, then when hittin close it asks to finalize.
it so easy a cave man could do it.

playing in my sony cd deck now. levels came out way lower than the mpc, but come to think of my mpc master vol is at like -6 or -12 I think.

I use it all the time to check how some rough beats sound in a car or whatever.

just to verify; you recorded the sequences into one .wav file, then saved that file to cd? because that's what i did that didn't work (free jjos). i will try again soon, though.

and even more importantly, how do you get the same sound level quality as when playing sequences back on the mpc? even if you have it on -0 master volume the sounds get distorted and will be recorded as such during the recording process. this is a really frustrating issue so any help is really appreciated.

I do it all the time. I do it just to play it. I guess if you soloed every track and resampled it in individually you could have a bunch of single tracks you could reconstruct somewhere else. For the sound coming out low sometimes its just how the beat is mixed in the MP. You can normalize the resampled beat before burning it also. That should boost up the level.

i'm pretty sure normalizing the beat produces the same problem, but thanks anyway bro
